The Securock® ExoAir® 430 System is comprised of an air/water barrier membrane factory-integrated with a gypsum sheathing panel. The panel is a glass mat-faced, moisture- and mold-resistant gypsum panel, with a non-combustible core integrated with a factory-applied synthetic vapor permeable air/water barrier membrane. The outcome is a uniform membrane with superior bond resulting in predictable air and water barrier performance and adhesion to the base panel. The panel is a component of the Securock® ExoAir® 430 Air Barrier System, to be installed using Tremco sealants and transition membranes to achieve air barrier continuity.
Tremco sealants and the ExoAir® 230 fluid have been chosen because they have been tested for adhesion, compatibility, air leakage, and water penetration as an assembly and will perform when properly installed in the Securock ExoAir 430 panel assembly. The connecting points are critical and these products will provide the connectivity from board to board, over fastener heads, and in transitions to adjacent substrates. Dymonic® 100, Spectrem® 1 and ExoAir 230 fluid membrane have been pigmented to visually represent that the correct products were used for these critical connectivity applications.
